Went there on my husband's birthday. Very romantic atmosphere and great service. Ordered off-menu food our waiter recommended and my husband really liked them. Tip: the view is even nicer when it's completely dark, so if you're someone like me who would do anything for great atmosphere, check the sunset time for that day before you make the reservation (which was what I did), and be sure to pick a table on the patio.

The food was subpar, however the atmosphere was so beautiful and romantic.I definitely recommend Il Cielo for maybe after dinner dessert and coffee. We ordered the salmon. The sauce was a bit overpowering and the peas were a very awkward addition. The service was also terrible, the waiter actually spilled my wine on me (you know what that means)

Great food and a small romantic place right in the heart of the sunset Strip. we sat next to the guys from Duran Duran and it was a blast.

My husband and I decided to check out this restaurant during dineLA but since the menu was not particularly a better deal, we ended up just ordering from regular menu. We had Burrata Pugliese (Creamy, Buttery Mozzarella with Vine Ripened Tomato; Fresh Basil) for appetizer and it was really good and only $10.My main dish, Lamb Chops are ok but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me and lacking some salt. My husband had Rib Eye and that was very tasty! But both dishes are a bit pricey, $40 each; it was good but not sure if it's worth that much. For desserts, we had La Passione (Warm Italian Chocolate Gianduja Gelato & White Chocolate Bacio) and Panna Cotta. La Passione takes 20 minutes to cook, but it was really good and worth waiting for 20 minutes.The atmosphere and the service were also good and I would definitely come back here to try different dishes. One interesting incident was that we saw Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez dining at the restaurant celebrating Selena's BD.
